This policy explains the cookies and browser-storage technologies used by MovingPlanner, their purposes and how you can control them.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small records stored by your browser and sent with relevant website requests. Local Storage and IndexedDB also store information on your device but are not automatically sent with each request. EU rules can apply to all of these technologies, so this policy describes them together.

Strictly necessary preferences

movingplanner-theme stores light or dark mode in Local Storage and in a first-party cookie for up to 12 months so the server can render the correct theme. movingplanner-cookie-consent stores your necessary, analytics and advertising choices in Local Storage until you clear site data or a new consent version is required. These records are needed to provide your requested settings.

Your local moving plan

The moving-planner IndexedDB database stores your checklist, move details, budget, rooms, boxes, contents, address changes, utilities and first-apartment items. It remains until you delete the workspace, clear browser data or the browser removes it. It is functional browser storage, not a tracking cookie, and its contents are not transmitted to MovingPlanner.

Analytics and advertising

The consent panel includes analytics and advertising choices so these categories remain off unless you actively allow them. No analytics or advertising provider is currently installed, so accepting either category does not currently place third-party tracking technology. If that changes, this policy and the consent interface will be updated before activation.

How to control or delete storage

Use Cookie settings below to reject optional categories, save custom choices or withdraw consent. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser. Doing so may reset the theme and consent choice and may permanently erase your locally stored moving plan; export a backup first if you want to keep it.
